You can drive your own dog sled of 5 to 6 friendly, hard working Alaskan huskies. The group leader drives his sled in front, and the participants’ dog teams will naturally follow after. You do not need any previous dog sleding experience. Just an urge to try something different and exciting.

Alaskan Husky Tours offers activities for small or large business groups and individuals. We are associated with very experienced guides which do their job in a professional manner. For larger group events, we often have snowshoe relay, team skiing, target shooting, lasso throwing, puppy hugging. The activities usually end with a gourmet meal prepared over an open fire by professional cooks from the hotel, in a large lavvo (teepee style tent).

We have a small lavvo with seating for up to 30 persons, and a larger lavvo with comfortable seating for up to 130 persons.

With even larger groups we can set up more lavvos for up to 300 persons. The kennel and wildlife camp is only 20 minutes from Røros, in a beautiful, untouched nature area.
